With open windows I'm blowing away the winter funk and welcoming my favorite season of all, SPRING! My hydrangeas, lilac, and raspberries have all started getting little green leaves. Most of all I'm excited about the bleeding heart. It's the first of my garden flowers to bloom and always makes me smile.
I know they're just tiny buds now but in a few days they'll be bright pink hearts that mean more to me than any blog post can accurately describe.
We had a mild winter here in cookieland which was perhaps even more depressing because if it's going to be cold, it should at least snow. Spring could not have come soon enough for me.
